I'm So Lonesome

The wide angle of this picture makes it special.

While there are many photographs of flora out there, and especially fields, the wide clear image here gives it something special. Shots like these are not exciting enough usually to be feature pieces, but they work rather well as stock.

On that note, the composition is good, though the left side of the shot is a bit too blown out. I'm guessing you had the sun on that side of the camera, but you need to compensate for it and get an even light accross your shot (it doesn't have to be the same brightness, but you have to make sure not to blow out or underexpose areas).

As a shot the composition is nice, but the tree is really low against the high grasses, it looks like the intention was to have the tree unite the earth an the sky, but because it's cut off by the grass that is not really achieved.

The lack of clutter (especially the lack of clouds) really compliments this piece, and makes it compelling.
